The Born Korea Insang Seolleongtang Launches 'Gukmul Bullsji'
[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Hyewon] The Born Korea's Insaeng Seolleongtang announced on the 14th that it has launched the fiery spicy 'Gukmul Bullsji' to relieve the stress of the heatwave all at once.
Gukmul Bullsji was introduced in response to the increasing number of consumers seeking to relieve stress and frustration caused by COVID-19 by eating spicy food. It is a newly developed menu inspired by the existing 'Bullsji,' with added broth, allowing for a more diverse combination of flavors.
In the spicy broth, savory and chewy suji (collagen lumps of opaque color from cow tendons and surrounding muscle areas) are added, providing the fun of both spicy taste and chewy texture simultaneously. Especially, with a moderate smoky flavor and umami, it boasts a spicy yet addictive taste that keeps you coming back. In addition to suji, large pieces of rice cakes, king oyster mushrooms, onions, and various vegetables are added to create a richer flavor.
