Distribution of School Meal Cooking Practice Recipes... Mapadubu and Ratatouille Included
Providing Video Materials Every 3 Weeks on YouTube and Homepage Until November
[Asia Economy Reporter Han Jinju] The Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education's School Health Promotion Institute will conduct 'Cooking Practice Training for School Meal Personnel' from June to November for nutrition teachers, nutritionists, and cooking staff.
This training will be conducted in collaboration with the professional educational institution Seoul Hyundai Vocational School, combining video lessons (7 sessions) and on-site practical training (2 sessions). The training topics include various cooking methods applicable to school meals such as ▲traditional world cuisines from Thailand, France, China ▲oven-based cooking ▲vegetable dishes ▲fish dishes and full-course meals.
Starting from the 8th, video training materials will be provided on the official YouTube channel and website of the School Health Promotion Institute, as well as on the Seoul School Meal Portal. Training materials will be provided every three weeks. The first materials offered will cover traditional world cuisines such as Pu Pad Pong Curry, Ratatouille, and Mapo Tofu.
Depending on the COVID-19 situation, on-site practical training will also be conducted at Seoul Hyundai Vocational School for a small number of participants in July and August.
