Hong Kong Democracy Goddess Agnes Chow... Released After 7 Months in Prison
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jihwan] Agnes Chow (24), a Hong Kong democracy activist, has reportedly been released after seven months of imprisonment on charges of inciting an illegal assembly during the 2019 anti-government protests.
According to major foreign media on the 12th, Chow left the prison that day and left the scene without making any remarks to the press.
Chow was detained in November last year on charges of participating in and inciting anti-China protests in June 2019. She was later sentenced to 10 months in prison.
