Jangseong-gun Offers Up to 50% Property Tax Reduction for Good Landlords
[Jangseong=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Jo Hangyu] On the 11th, Jangseong-gun, Jeollanam-do announced that it will promote property tax reductions for benevolent landlords who voluntarily participated in the rent reduction campaign to support small business owners struggling due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic.
The county will reduce up to 50% of the property tax on buildings next month for landlords who reduced rent by more than 10% per month for at least three months before the property tax assessment date of the 1st, or who signed a rent reduction agreement for at least three months including the assessment date.
Eligible applicants must submit a local tax reduction application form, copies of the original lease contract, the amended lease (agreement) contract, financial transaction records, and a certificate confirming the tenant as a small business owner to the Finance Department or the Eup/Myeon Administrative Welfare Center by November.
If applied by the 18th, applicants can receive a tax bill reflecting the reduced amount.
