Police Arrest Man and Woman for Drug Possession at Gangnam Hotel
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Jung-yoon] A man and a woman found in possession of drugs at a hotel in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, were arrested by the police.
According to the police on the 10th, the Gangnam Police Station in Seoul arrested and is investigating them on charges of violating the Narcotics Control Act.
The police responded to a report of a syringe found in a room that had checked out at around 1:20 p.m. the previous day and arrested the two people on another floor of the same hotel on the spot. Approximately 55g of methamphetamine, enough for thousands of doses, was found in the bathroom of the room they stayed in.

The police plan to send the seized drugs to the National Forensic Service for precise component analysis and investigate the source of acquisition and whether the drugs were used.
