[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] The Jinju Small Business Association in Gyeongnam (hereinafter referred to as the Association) held a campaign against the separation of LH without discussion with local residents on the 10th at the central square, with about 20 members participating.
On this day, the Association stated, "If the functions of LH are reduced or separated as per the government's reform plan, not only will the functions of the Gyeongnam Jinju Innovation City, which is centered around LH, be weakened, but it will also clearly cause side effects on the local economy, threatening the survival rights of small business owners who are already struggling."
They added, "While we agree that institutional supplements are necessary to restore trust, we absolutely oppose innovation that reduces or weakens functions unrelated to eradicating real estate speculation," reaffirming their determination.

A member who participated in the campaign said, "The government is trying to reduce and separate LH's functions just six years after LH headquarters moved to Jinju," and expressed frustration, saying, "It is even more infuriating that this approach is made without gathering opinions from local residents." He added, "They should collect opinions from local residents, communicate, and prepare reasonable alternatives."
