3 Dead, 2 More Being Rescued from Bus Buried in Gwangju Building Collapse

According to the fire authorities on the 9th, it was initially reported that 12 people were on the city bus, but during the rescue process, one more person was confirmed, increasing the total to 13.
Among them, 8 people (seriously and moderately injured) were rescued, 3 died, and 2 are still being rescued.
Contrary to what was initially reported immediately after the accident, it was confirmed that two passenger cars stopped just before the collapse and were not buried.
At the time, demolition work was being carried out on the fifth floor using heavy equipment, and there were a total of 4 workers (2 inside the building and 2 outside).
When abnormal signs such as sounds occurred just before the collapse, the workers evacuated.
It was reported that no citizens were passing by the bus stop and sidewalk right in front.
