KCC Supports Ulsan Children's School Bus Safety Enhancement Project
Support of 135 Million KRW for Strengthening Child Safety in 33 Child and Youth Social Welfare Facilities

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Jong-hwa] On the 9th, KCC announced that it held a distribution ceremony for the 'Children's School Bus Safety Enhancement Support Project with KCC' at the Ulsan City Sunlight Square together with the Ulsan Community Chest of Korea. Attendees at the ceremony included Han Young-tae, Head of KCC Ulsan Plant; Song Cheol-ho, Mayor of Ulsan Metropolitan City; Moon Jae-cheol, Chairman of the Ulsan Social Welfare Council; and Kang Hak-bong, Secretary General of the Ulsan Community Chest of Korea.
KCC Ulsan Plant supported paint worth 135 million KRW, which will be used for children's safety enhancement projects at a total of 33 child and youth-related social welfare facilities in the Ulsan area. The paint provided by KCC Ulsan Plant will be used to paint children's school buses.
Last year, KCC supported 200 million KRW to the Ulsan Center for Independent Living for the Disabled and carried out housing environment support projects for 45 low-income disabled households in the Ulsan area, actively engaging in various social contribution activities for marginalized groups in the local community.

A KCC official stated, "The Children's School Bus Safety Enhancement Support Project is expected to help reduce the risk of children's traffic accidents," adding, "We will continue to make efforts to prevent safety accidents on children's school routes."
