Surpassing 6 Trillion Won in Balance Over 4 Years Since Launch... KB Securities Wrap Account Service 'Smooth Sailing'
Clear Growth Trend in Products for VIP Customers
[Asia Economy Reporter Minwoo Lee] KB Securities' discretionary wrap account service has surpassed a balance of 6 trillion KRW just four years after its launch.
On the 9th, KB Securities announced that the balance of its discretionary wrap account service, 'KB Able Account,' launched in 2017, has exceeded 6.3 trillion KRW. Since its launch last year, the company has been expanding the scope of service provision from individual VIP clients to university endowments and small and medium-sized corporations.
In particular, the subscription growth of 'KB Able Account H,' a high-net-worth (HNW) client service based on the outsourced chief investment officer (OCIO) service, which was previously considered exclusive to institutional investors, has been remarkable this year.
'KB Able Account H' is characterized by replicating the operation methods of large-scale fund management. Specifically, it consists of an absolute return type that seeks steady profits regardless of market conditions, and an active type that aims to track market indices while reducing volatility compared to the market. These two basic products serve as the foundation, and customized portfolio products are flexibly provided according to customer demand. Recently, the minimum subscription amount was lowered to 1 billion KRW, and with increasing subscriptions, the balance has grown to 250 billion KRW.
Meanwhile, wrap account products may incur principal losses depending on investment results. For more detailed information, please refer to the KB Securities website or contact the customer center.
