J-Bike Demonstrates Eco-Friendly Wireless Charging System in Seoul Magok
[Asia Economy Reporter Bu Aeri] J-Bike, which operates the electric scooter sharing service platform 'G-Cooter,' announced on the 9th that it has been selected for the pilot project supporting an eco-friendly mobility wireless charging system using solar power.
The 'Magok Smart City Living Lab,' in which J-Bike is participating, is a project that applies ICT technology to smart infrastructure and public facilities within the Magok district of Seoul to solve issues related to transportation, environment, and housing.
J-Bike plans to contribute to the expansion of transportation infrastructure through mobility services and significantly resolve parking problems, one of the main complaints in urban areas.
J-Bike stated that it expects the effectiveness of the eco-friendly wireless charging system to be proven through this Smart City Living Lab project. The wireless charging station developed by J-Bike and SKC is the first in Korea to apply solar power generation technology.
