Sokcho City Hall Athlete Kim Hyunseop Wins Gold Medal at KBS National Athletics Competition
Following the 2nd Place at the Unemployment Athletics Championship, Consecutive Achievements
[Asia Economy Reporter Ra Young-cheol] Kim Hyun-seop, a member of Sokcho City Hall and known as the "Legend of Korean Racewalking," won the gold medal in the men's general division 20km racewalking event at the 49th KBS Cup National Athletics Competition.
At the event held on the 5th at the Yecheon Public Stadium in Gyeongbuk, Kim Hyun-seop achieved a time of 1 hour 25 minutes 24 seconds to secure the gold medal, marking a great achievement following his second-place finish at the National Corporate Athletics Championships held in Yecheon this April.

Kim Hyun-seop, a graduate of Seorak High School, is currently affiliated with Sokcho City Hall and is the only medalist from Korea in the World Athletics Championships.
