Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education to Hold Four Lectures for Parents by September
Sharing Expert Talks and Information to Support Career Planning
[Asia Economy Reporter Han Jinju] The Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education will operate a monthly "Parent Video (Ontact) Career Concert" until September to help parents design their children's career paths and share related information.
The parent video face-to-face career concert was prepared to present a future-oriented career roadmap and share information that can help design career paths within the school curriculum. Under the theme "How to Work with AI in the Era of N-jobbers," expert lectures are prepared to assist with the necessary competencies and career planning.
The first event, held on the 26th, is a lecture for all parents under the theme "Preparing for the Future with Entrepreneurial Spirit." Speakers include representatives from the Korea Youth Entrepreneurship Foundation, Wadiz, Masspresso, and Youthmango. They will share their experiences pioneering careers with entrepreneurial spirit and have time to communicate with parents.
The second session (July 24) targets parents of elementary school students and discusses "How to Work in the Era of N-jobbers," focusing on career exploration for elementary students and education for children in their growth phase. The third session (August 26) is for parents of middle school students and features a lecture on "Talents Who Can Work with AI," covering career planning and school life for middle school students preparing the competencies of future talents.
The fourth session (September 25) is for parents of high school students and offers a lecture titled "Talents and Organizational Culture in the AI Era," discussing the talents required in future organizational society from the perspective of a company CEO and career planning for high school students in the rapidly changing AI era.
Parents who wish to participate in the lectures can apply individually online through the Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education website and then access the separately guided online platform.
