A Woman in Her 50s Working at Yeosu Industrial Complex Dies After Being Hit by Vehicle
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Shim Kyung-taek] At around 9:40 AM on the 8th, a female worker in her 50s was fatally struck by a vehicle at Company A's factory within the Yeosu National Industrial Complex in Jeonnam.
According to sources from the Yeosu Industrial Complex, the accident occurred on a road in front of the office of a subcontractor within the factory. Employee B (52, female) of a KEPCO-affiliated subcontractor was moving to a rest area during break time when she was hit by a lunch delivery vehicle reversing.
Ms. B was given emergency treatment immediately after the accident and was promptly transported to a nearby hospital but passed away around 10:35 AM.
