Changwon City, Join the Citizen Roundtable Discussion on Care Policies
Holding the Gender Equality Care Discussion "Together Care! Everyone Grows!" with Citizens
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Saeyan] Changwon City, Gyeongnam Province, plans to hold a Changwon City Care Policy Citizen Roundtable Discussion, created together by partner organizations of the joint project "Now More Equal Changwon" and citizens, on the 18th.
This discussion is a project jointly planned with 13 citizen organizations including Masan YMCA to create a family-friendly environment, which was proposed at the 2020 Women-Friendly City Citizen Roundtable Discussion.
It is designed as an opportunity to diagnose the current status and values of care in the city, the difficult elements of gender-equal care, and to share citizens' ideas on care policies.
Any Changwon citizen can apply to participate in the discussion online by the 10th.
A preliminary survey on care services is also being conducted online. Inquiries can be made to the Women's Policy Department of the City’s Women and Family Division or Masan YMCA.
