Yangsan-si Hosts 'Dad's Childcare' Video Contest
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Sang-hyun] Yangsan City, Gyeongnam Province announced on the 7th that it will hold a population policy contest titled "Dad Childcare UCC Video Contest" to encourage male participation in childcare.
Any male resident in the area with infants or young children can participate in this contest.
The content should be an original creative video in any free format such as a vlog, film, or commercial, under 10 minutes, depicting a day spent with the child as the primary caregiver father, and submitted along with the application form.
Submitted works will be judged and subjected to an online public vote, with prizes awarded as follows: Grand Prize (1 person) 500,000 KRW, Excellence Award (1 person) 300,000 KRW, Merit Award (1 person) 200,000 KRW, and Encouragement Award (3 persons) 100,000 KRW each.
Participants who share their entries on their personal SNS accounts will be entered into a draw to receive a participation prize worth 20,000 KRW for 10 people. Participation prizes can be awarded in addition to the ranked prizes. Award-winning works will be announced and exhibited, and used for population policy promotion and campaign activities.
The contest submission deadline is July 23, and winners will be announced in September.
