[Asia Economy Reporter Ki Ha-young] Hyundai Capital announced on the 7th that it received the 'Ministerial Commendation for Environmental Conservation Merit' at the environmental merit awards ceremony commemorating the '26th Environment Day' hosted by the Ministry of Environment.
The Ministerial Commendation for Environmental Conservation Merit is an award given to individuals and organizations from various sectors of society who have contributed to environmental conservation. Hyundai Capital was the only company in the financial sector selected in recognition of its contribution to promoting eco-friendly businesses, such as launching the industry's first electric vehicle-exclusive product in 2015 and distributing approximately 34,300 electric vehicles and 3,100 hydrogen vehicles.
