"Pay Monthly Rent by Card"... Shinhan Card Launches Instant Monthly Rent Card Payment Application with 'Zigbang'
Zigbang App Now Allows Immediate Monthly Rent Card Payment Application
One Month Rent Support, 3-Month Cashback on Service Fees, and More Events
[Asia Economy Reporter Ki Ha-young] Shinhan Card announced on the 7th that it has launched a monthly rent card payment application service on the real estate application (app) Zigbang.
Currently, Shinhan Card is the only card company operating the monthly rent card payment service "MyWolse," which introduced credit card payments for real estate lease transactions between individuals and individual business owners. It was selected as an innovative financial service by the Financial Services Commission in November 2019.
By using this service, tenants can pay monthly rent with a credit card even if their account balance is insufficient and settle the payment on the card payment date, while landlords benefit from receiving deposits on a fixed date.
To celebrate the launch of the service, both companies have prepared various events. Until July 31, all customers who newly apply for the monthly rent card payment service on the Zigbang app will receive a 1% cashback on the usage fee for three months. Additionally, among new contract customers, five will be selected by lottery to receive full support for one month’s rent. Another event will give a total of 500 customers a CU convenience store gifticon worth 5,000 KRW through a lottery.
