The system has been innovated to enable electronic document processing in insurance and financial service tasks, from insurance subscription to receiving insurance payments or loans.
The previous paper document writing has been replaced by electronic writing using touch monitors, and processing result receipts are substituted with automatic notification messages. Supporting documents are stored automatically as images.
From the customer's perspective, the processing speed is shortened, improving convenience, and readability is enhanced through digital devices such as customer touch monitors with screen magnification, which is expected to help improve accessibility for elderly customers. The risk of information leakage due to document loss decreases, and the workload of scanning documents or storing receipts is reduced, thereby saving costs and manpower required for document management.
Kyobo Life Insurance uses an average of about 5,000 boxes of office paper annually, and with the establishment of the electronic document work environment, printing costs are expected to be reduced by approximately 200 million KRW, and paper consumption will also decrease.
