Idus to Showcase Fashion Designer Brands
Launch of Fashion Designer Brand Category
Featuring Over 90 Fashion Designers with More Than 1,200 Pieces Presented
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] Backpacker (CEO Kim Dong-hwan) announced on the 3rd that it will newly launch the 'Clothing, Homewear (Fashion)' category on the online handmade market 'Idus' to help small-scale domestic fashion designers join the platform and introduce various works to customers.
Idus has been working on service development and recruiting creators since last year to support the creative activities of domestic fashion designers. With the expansion of the fashion category, a total of about 90 designer creators have joined, showcasing over 1,200 pieces of clothing.
This expansion of Idus' service aims to raise awareness of clothing design as a creator's work and support the sale of high-quality designer clothing with unique stories.
Idus offers various benefits to fashion designers joining the platform. It partially supports the production of designer clothing lookbooks and detailed photography of works, and also provides existing Idus benefits such as health checkups and creator education. In addition, through its subsidiary Tumblbug, it plans to conduct funding projects as well as separate lectures and consulting.
