Signed a Business Agreement to Establish a Lifelong Learning Collaboration System in the Broadcasting and Video Field
[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Seodaemun-gu (Mayor Moon Seok-jin) is collaborating with the Korea Broadcasting Arts Education Promotion Institute to offer a free "Online Broadcast Video Education Course" for adult residents.
A total of 20 participants will be selected, including 12 for the broadcasting team and 8 for the editing team. The course will be held from the 14th to July 22nd, every Monday and Thursday, at the Seodaemun-gu Lifelong Learning Center and Convergence Talent Education Center (49 Yeonhui-ro 36-gil), consisting of 12 sessions totaling 36 hours.
Classes will run from 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM.
Applicants can download the related form from the Seodaemun-gu Lifelong Learning Portal notice board, fill it out, and submit it via email (songisso46@sdm.go.kr) by 6 PM on the 9th of this month.
Preference will be given during the selection process to those with experience in video shooting, editing, recording, lighting, and related fields.
This course offers an opportunity to learn advanced related skills through lectures by professors from the Korea Broadcasting Arts Education Promotion Institute, who have extensive field know-how, using broadcasting video relay shooting equipment owned by the institute.
The "Broadcasting" section covers indoor and outdoor event broadcasting methods, symphony orchestra performance broadcasting, and on-site broadcasting practice. The "Editing" section includes video and photo editing, subtitles, CG, and comprehensive editing curricula.
Common courses include education on ▲video sharing services (YouTube) and new media platforms ▲broadcast shooting camera manuals ▲definitions and elements of video editing ▲live commerce, among others.
The district plans to allow those who complete the course and wish to do so, after a certain evaluation, to work as media experts for various non-face-to-face events and lecture broadcasts at the district office, as well as for producing educational video content.
Meanwhile, to establish a lifelong learning collaboration system in the broadcasting video field, the district signed a business agreement with the Korea Broadcasting Arts Education Promotion Institute on the 14th of last month.
Based on this agreement, the two organizations will cooperate to activate lifelong learning for residents in the broadcasting video field overall, including the opening of this education course.
