[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Saeyan] Gyeongsangnam-do announced on the 1st that it will promote an early scrappage support project for old diesel agricultural machinery starting this year.
The target agricultural machinery includes diesel tractors and combines produced before 2013. They must be in normal operating condition and registered in the Nonghyup 'Tax-Free Fuel Management System.'
The support targets are farmers and agricultural corporations registered as agricultural management entities, and they must have owned the relevant agricultural machinery for more than six months as of the application date.
The early scrappage subsidy is provided differentially according to the specifications and manufacturing year of the agricultural machinery.
Tractors are supported from 1 million to 22.49 million KRW depending on the manufacturing year and horsepower, and combines are supported from 1 million to 13.1 million KRW.
Farmers and agricultural corporations wishing to participate in the project can apply at the agricultural machinery department of the Agricultural Technology Center in their city or county of residence.
After the scrappage business verifies the operating condition of the agricultural machinery and completes the scrappage process, the subsidy is received.
