NS Home Shopping will launch a mobile "Gift Service" starting from the 1st of next month.
View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chunhan] NS Home Shopping announced on the 31st that it will open a mobile 'Gift Service' starting from the 1st of next month and hold a rewards event. All products except for some items such as medical devices and insurance can be used with the gift service across all NS Home Shopping channels.
The gift service allows the gift purchaser to send a gift even if they do not know the recipient's address. After selecting a product on NS Mall or the app and entering the product detail page, the purchaser can click the 'Send Gift' button, enter only the recipient's mobile phone number, and complete the payment. A text message will then be sent to the recipient. Through the link included in the text message, the recipient can directly enter their delivery address.
To commemorate the opening of the gift service, NS Home Shopping will hold an event. If customers use the gift service next month and purchase over 70,000 KRW, they will receive 10% of the payment amount back as reward points, up to a maximum of 10,000 KRW. The reward points will be credited to the purchaser's ID on July 19.

An NS Home Shopping official said, "We have opened the 'Gift Service' so that various products can be used as non-face-to-face gifts, and added a feature that recommends gifts considering factors such as anniversaries, age groups, price, and popular products." He added, "We plan to continue providing various convenience services so that anyone can easily and comfortably enjoy shopping on mobile and the app."
