55,000 Doses of Moderna Vaccine Scheduled for Introduction on the 31st to Arrive on the 1st of Next Month
[Asia Economy Reporter Seo So-jeong] The government-wide vaccine procurement task force (led by Kwon Deok-cheol, Minister of Health and Welfare) announced on the 30th that the first batch of 55,000 doses of the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine will arrive at Incheon Airport at 12:45 PM on the 1st of next month.
Originally scheduled to arrive on the 31st, the schedule was changed due to local circumstances, the task force explained.
The Moderna vaccine being introduced this time will undergo the national release approval process as planned and will be supplied in mid-June.

This vaccine is planned to be used for vaccination of medical institution workers at hospital level or higher under the age of 30.
