Daejeon City Recruiting 92 University Students for Summer Vacation Part-Time Jobs
[Asia Economy (Daejeon) Reporter Jeong Il-woong] Daejeon City announced on the 28th that it will recruit 92 university students to work part-time at Daejeon City Hall, business offices, and public corporations during the summer vacation from the 2nd to the 4th of next month.
The hired university students will work for 4 weeks, 5 days a week, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on weekdays at institutions (departments) such as Daejeon City Hall, Hanbat Library, and the Waterworks Headquarters. Their main duties include assisting with administrative tasks, organizing materials, and supporting operations.
Applications are open to any university student residing in Daejeon or enrolled at a university located in Daejeon as of the announcement date (the 28th).
Applications can be submitted through the Daejeon City Hall website (Participation Plaza).
The city plans to announce the first round of selected candidates on the 9th of next month, followed by document screening, and will post the final selected candidates on the City Hall website on the 29th of next month.

Park Ji-ho, Director of the Youth Policy Division of the city, said, “We aim for the summer vacation part-time jobs for university students to help local students cover tuition fees and gain administrative experience,” and added, “We ask for the interest and participation of many eligible candidates.”
