Naver Partners with AboutPet for Companion Animal Service Platform 'Matson'
[Asia Economy Reporter Buaeri] Naver Shopping announced on the 27th that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the pet platform 'AboutPet' to provide personalized pet services.
The two companies will mutually cooperate to build a personalized pet service platform in line with the market trend of expanding pet families and increasing demand for pet-related content.
AboutPet is a platform that offers pet care and nurturing content, related products, and provides user community functions.
Through this agreement, Naver will apply its personalized product recommendation technology AiTEMS to the AboutPet service to recommend pet supplies and content tailored to users' preferences. They will also collaborate on data construction and integration for joint analysis of pet data.
The two companies plan to activate pet services by launching AboutPet on Naver's grocery shopping service within the year and provide same-day delivery using GS Retail's distribution network. AboutPet's 24-hour expert consultation tool will also be installed within the Naver Pet Window.
