FKI Provides Special Training on 'Korea and K-Business' for Diplomats from Embassies in Korea

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Heung-soon] The Federation of Korean Industries announced on the 26th that it will conduct a special educational program on Korea and K-business for diplomats from embassies of Korea's top 30 trading partners and major countries that participated in the Korean War.
This two-day program, held until the 27th, is designed to enhance the understanding of embassy diplomats stationed in Korea regarding the rapidly changing trends in Korea's economy and industry, business environment, regulations, taxation, and legislative processes, aiming to contribute to the activation of economic exchanges between the two countries.
In the special lecture on the day, Kwon Tae-shin, Vice Chairman of the Federation of Korean Industries, presented the history of Korea's economic development as a high-growth miracle along with the current challenges facing the Korean economy. He emphasized that "for future economic development in Korea, regulatory reform and labor market reform are necessary to foster industrial innovation and create a business-friendly environment," and added, "Along with these reforms, the revival of Korea's entrepreneurial spirit is absolutely essential."

Kim Bong-man, Director of International Cooperation at the Federation of Korean Industries, stated, "We plan to regularize the program in spring and autumn, and in the second half of the year, we are preparing site visits to major companies to enhance understanding of Korean businesses."
