View original image[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Seo Young-seo] Mokpo Maritime Police Station (Chief Im Jae-su) announced on the 25th that it signed a business agreement with Chodang University (President Park Jong-gu) on the 24th to foster outstanding talents equipped with technology and creativity that meet the social demands of the 4th Industrial Revolution.
This agreement was prepared to establish a cooperative system to revitalize education and training exchanges between the two institutions, promote mutual information exchange and various business cooperation, and contribute to the development and nurturing of local talents.
The agreement covers a total of four areas: promotion and exchange of innovation platform projects in the Gwangju and Jeonnam regions, operation of education programs for employees including field visits and training courses, joint use of educational facilities and equipment, and other matters related to the development of both institutions.
In particular, Chodang University will support pilot training and certification acquisition for drones and light aircraft, which greatly contribute to maritime traffic safety management, maritime security maintenance, and marine pollution prevention by the Maritime Police.
