Cultural Event Held Every Last Saturday of the Month at Haedong Culture and Arts Village
Children's Musical 'Hwanggeum Yong and Gildong-i' to Be Presented in Celebration of Family Month
[Damyang=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Chunsu] The May performance program of "Encore Haedong," held on Culture Day, will take place on the 27th at 5 p.m. in the yard of Haedong Culture and Arts Village in Damyang.
According to Haedong Culture and Arts Village on the 24th, this performance is a children's musical that reconstructs fairy tales to make it easy and fun for children to enjoy along with classical music.
Haedong Culture and Arts Village has prepared performances that comfort the daily lives exhausted by COVID-19 for both local residents visiting and visitors coming to Damyang, allowing families to enjoy together.
A representative of the Cultural Foundation said, "In celebration of Family Month, we provide culture that can give family outing groups the joy of cultural enjoyment and visiting the region, and we hope Haedong Culture and Arts Village becomes a place that offers various performance stages and opportunities to enhance the capabilities of performing artists struggling due to COVID-19."
Additionally, the "Haedong Sik," which provides eco-friendly food made directly by local residents at each performance, is currently promoting Damyang specialties instead due to the ban on gatherings of five or more people inside restaurants.
