IBK Industrial Bank, Hosts '2021 Junggyeon Company Job Fair'
From the 24th, a two-week event... Over 70 outstanding mid-sized companies participating
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Sun-mi] IBK Industrial Bank of Korea announced on the 24th that it will hold the ‘2021 Mid-sized Enterprise Job Fair,’ which conducts the entire recruitment process non-face-to-face to support talent recruitment for outstanding mid-sized companies.
The fair, which will be held for two weeks until the 4th of next month, is hosted by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and organized by IBK and the Korea Federation of Mid-sized Enterprises.
An IBK official said, “As a policy bank, we planned the job fair to participate in the government’s Korean New Deal employment and social safety net establishment plan,” adding, “We hope the fair will help job seekers who are struggling due to COVID-19.”
About 70 outstanding mid-sized companies from various fields such as future cars, bio-health, and system semiconductors, including Danal, Douzone Bizon, Eduwill, EcoPro BM, and Hanmi Healthcare, will participate and conduct recruitment. In particular, an AI-based resume and competency test solution was introduced to simplify the recruitment process. The AI analysis results are used as auxiliary evaluation indicators equivalent to aptitude and job competency tests to enhance fairness.
Interviews will be conducted via real-time video interviews, and the first 200 job seekers who complete the interview will receive interview support funds. To strengthen job seekers’ capabilities, pre-online employment lectures such as self-introduction writing and AI interview training were conducted for about 5,000 people. Various video contents such as ‘Vlogs by current employees,’ lively ‘Talk Concerts’ with current employees, and ‘Live Recruitment Briefings’ were prepared to help job seekers’ employment, tailored to the MZ generation’s perspective.
