Barogo Wins Grand Prize in Distribution Logistics Category at 'Korea Logistics Awards'
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Bo-kyung] Startup Barogo, which operates a last-mile logistics IT platform, announced on the 24th that it won the Grand Prize in the distribution logistics category at the 24th Korea Logistics Awards ceremony hosted by the Korea Logistics Association.
The Korea Logistics Association was established in 1992 to promote the development of logistics in Korea and academic exchange among experts. It contributes to the advancement of the logistics industry and policy modernization by holding regular academic conferences and policy forums. Since 1998, it has awarded the Korea Logistics Awards to companies, organizations, and experts who have made significant contributions to the development of logistics in Korea.
Barogo has expanded its delivery scope beyond traditional food delivery to include non-food items such as cosmetics and convenience goods. It has established itself as a comprehensive delivery service provider through ▲ operating shared kitchens called 'Dosijubang' ▲ consulting and selling packaging and delivery containers ▲ and brand delivery consulting.
Recently, Barogo was recognized for practicing ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) management by establishing a joint venture called 'MOOVING' with fintech security company Aton to build an eco-friendly mobility ecosystem, earning the Grand Prize in the distribution logistics category.
