“Jungnang Masil” is a representative on-site communication administration that started in October 2018 and has continued for three years this year.
Mayor Ryu Gyeong-gi personally visits the site to listen to the voices of local residents and reflect them in policies.
In this Jungnang Masil held in celebration of Family Month, 14 parents of infants and toddlers exchanged opinions on the district’s childcare support policies and shared childcare difficulties together.
The district operates 12 communal childcare rooms for children who lack play spaces and plans to increase the number to 16 by 2022.
In addition, to ease the economic burden on families with infants and toddlers, the district operates three toy libraries and runs the “Chattori” (visiting toy bundle) service that delivers heavy toys to homes.
Furthermore, various childcare support projects are being carried out, such as the Jungnang-style school commute helper support project and the operation of hourly childcare rooms.
