Hampyeong Expo Park Expected to Transform into a New Tourist Attraction Through Light
Hampyeong Butterfly Festival and Korea National Chrysanthemum Exhibition Shine Beautifully in the Dark at Hampyeong Expo Park
[Hampyeong=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Kim Chunsu] Hampyeong County in Jeollanam-do announced on the 23rd that the nighttime landscape project at Hampyeong Expo Park, which has been underway since 2019 to create nighttime attractions and foster a stay-type tourism industry, is progressing smoothly with the goal of completion by December.
So far, a total of 4,424 lighting fixtures of 26 different types and 31 types of nighttime landscape sculptures have been installed.
The lights and sculptures include ground lighting in the central plaza, LED media on Dream Tree and Hope Tree, light benches, tunnel lighting, and gobo lighting utilizing building walls, allowing visitors to enjoy various landscapes throughout the park.

The county plans to open the park at night once the project is fully completed, and it is expected to become a representative nighttime tourist destination in Hampyeong along with the Hampyeong Drive-in Theater, which opened on January 28.
