She cited the achievement of securing a global supply expansion commitment for legacy semiconductor chips used in automobiles as a major success. Yang serves as the secretary of the Democratic Party's Special Committee on Semiconductors.
On the 22nd, Yang wrote on Facebook, "The agreement at this summit to strengthen partnerships in key technology sectors for shared security, prosperity, and advancement is the highlight of highlights." She mentioned, "Both countries pledged to lead innovation in future growth areas such as semiconductors, 5G, 6G, private space exploration technology cooperation, investment, supply chain recovery, next-generation batteries, hydrogen energy, and artificial intelligence."
Yang stated, "With this summit, the Korea-US alliance will be reborn as the world's strongest technology alliance," adding, "I believe that the technology alliance formed this time will enable both countries to seize future global hegemony. I will seek institutional support measures at the National Assembly level to ensure that the future technology cooperation agreed upon at the summit is sustainable."

She also said, "Not only did we confirm a joint will for peace on the Korean Peninsula, but we also decided to establish a COVID-19 vaccine partnership. The Korea-US summit results are like a comprehensive gift set." Yang emphasized, "It is very encouraging in that it presented a milestone for the Korea-US relationship to advance in the post-COVID 4th Industrial Revolution era."
