Miryang-si Recruiting Participants for Forestry Technician Training Program Until June 4
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Sang-hyun] Miryang City in Gyeongnam announced on the 21st that it is recruiting participants for forestry technician training for reemployment in the forestry sector.
The selection target is residents registered as living in Miryang, and a total of 25 people will be selected. Applications are accepted by the Job Economy Division until June 4.
The training will be held from June 14 to July 23 at the Korea Forest Service Central Association Forestry Technology Training Center in Yangsan, and the training fee is free. A shuttle bus will be operated for the convenience of trainees.
The training content includes young tree cultivation, logging techniques, and timber yarding techniques.
Those who complete the training will be awarded the ‘Forest Management Technician Level 2’ qualification. In addition, by completing 100 hours of forestry successor and returning farmer training, the qualification requirements are met, and when wishing to manage forestry, forestry successor qualifications are granted according to related laws. It is also possible to apply for rural settlement and comprehensive forest business funds.
