Hwasun-gun to Operate 'Goindol Historic Site Utilization Program' Starting from the 25th
[Hwasun=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Ji-woon] Jeonnam Hwasun-gun (Governor Gu Chung-gon) announced on the 21st that it will operate the ‘2021 World Heritage Hwasun Dolmen Site Utilization Program’ from the 25th until December.
The Hwasun Dolmen Site Utilization Program, supported by the Cultural Heritage Administration, will be held around the dolmen site area.
Under the theme of ‘Stories of the Dolmen Village People,’ various prehistoric experience programs connecting the past, present, and future, as well as diverse cultural and artistic programs reflecting on the historical and cultural value and meaning of dolmens and prehistoric life, will be conducted.
In accordance with COVID-19 quarantine guidelines, the program will operate as a non-face-to-face program and by advance reservation. Admission to the dolmen site is free and it is open at all times.
The experience programs will be held at the Prehistoric Experience Center in Hyosan-ri, Dogok-myeon, and the Cultural Experience Center in Daesin-ri, Chunyang-myeon, from Tuesday to Sunday every week, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Making an advance reservation allows for a safer and faster experience of the programs.

A county official said, “We hope that the various prehistoric experience programs will help heal the minds and bodies of residents and visitors exhausted by the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic,” and added, “Please strictly follow quarantine rules such as wearing masks when using historical and cultural facilities like the heritage sites.”
