Naver D2SF Makes Follow-up Investment in Music AI Startup 'Poja Labs'
[Asia Economy Reporter Kang Nahum] Naver's startup nurturing organization D2SF announced on the 21st that it has made a follow-up investment in the AI (artificial intelligence) composition solution development startup 'Poja Labs.' This is a reinvestment after three years since the first investment in 2018.
Poja Labs, a company developing AI-based composition solutions, is known for creating high-quality music with various atmospheres by datafying all necessary elements for music such as harmony and sampling, unlike most AI-composed music which has not achieved significant market success due to quality issues.
In particular, it automates the entire process in detail, including sound source post-processing, mixing, and mastering systems, to realize natural yet grand AI sound.
The music quality of Poja Labs has already been recognized in the market. It has received favorable reviews such as "music that truly feels like music," "music that fits well with content," and "music suitable for broadcast" through background music production projects with major content companies, blind tests for music experts, beta tests for general users, and collaborations with meditation content providers.
Poja Labs is currently discussing collaborations with content platforms and entertainment companies and is also preparing a stock music web service for individual creators.
