Shinhan Financial Group Hosts Startup Networking Program 'Monthly Pine:'
Supporting Business Insight Sharing and Mutual Exchange Among Startup Stakeholders

View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Kwangho Lee] Shinhan Financial Group announced on the 21st that it held the startup networking program 'Monthly Fine:' at Shinhan Square Bridge Seoul, a startup nurturing platform.
As part of the Triple K Project, a mid- to long-term innovative finance platform construction project of the group, Shinhan Financial operates Shinhan Square Bridges nationwide in Seoul, Incheon, Daejeon, Jeju, and other locations.
Shinhan Square Bridge Seoul supports high-quality programs such as incubating programs for startup scale-up, social venture investments to support corporate growth engines, and job matching employment connections that link promising talents with social venture companies.
Among these, Monthly Fine: is a networking program launched in March to bring together stakeholders in the startup ecosystem such as startups, venture capitalists, and corporate officials to share insights in various fields including new business ideas, investments, and future prospects, and to expand mutual exchange opportunities.
This program sets monthly themes such as startup alliance networking, overseas expansion, and global trends, where special guests including corporate officials, accelerators, and venture capitalists provide insight briefings and talks, and share diverse opinions with participants.
The event held under the theme of open innovation featured guests such as Taekheon Lee, Senior Manager of Shinhan Bank Smart Contact Center (AICC), Junghoon Lee, SKT Global Accelerator Manager, Jaehun Lee, Team Leader of CJ Win-Win Innovation Team, Kyuseung Noh, Creative Director of Hyundai Motor Zero One, and Sunyoung Moon, Investment Officer at SparkLabs. They engaged in in-depth discussions on the operation direction of open innovation between startups and large corporations, as well as cases of collaboration and business adoption with domestic and international startups.
A startup CEO who participated in this program said, "It was good to have a networking opportunity with venture capitalists and companies that are usually hard to reach," adding, "Not only was it a meeting for collaboration with startup CEOs in new fields, but also the presence of panelists who understand the difficulties of startups well was practically very helpful."
