Junggi Ombudsman and National Rights Commission Collaborate on Regulatory Improvement
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Jong-hwa] With the on-site experience of the Small and Medium Business Ombudsman and the complaint resolution expertise of the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission, it is expected to become easier to resolve difficulties such as regulatory improvements related to business activities for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), mid-sized companies, and small business owners facing challenges.
The Small and Medium Business Ombudsman (at the vice ministerial level) signed a business agreement with the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission on the 21st, agreeing to mutually cooperate on various institutional improvements to enhance corporate rights. The signing ceremony was held at the Government Joint Civil Complaint Center on the 5th floor of the Government Seoul Office Building, attended by Park Ju-bong, the Small and Medium Business Ombudsman, and Jeon Hyun-hee, the Chairperson of the Commission.
Through the agreement, the two organizations will cooperate to improve regulations related to business activities, resolve difficulties and improve systems, address grievances regarding illegal or unfair administrative dispositions, collaborate and exchange information to enhance the rights of SMEs, mid-sized companies, and small business owners, and promote the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission’s Government Joint Civil Complaint Center and the Small and Medium Business Ombudsman.
This business agreement enables the two organizations to jointly seek solutions for complaints related to SMEs and small business owners. By utilizing the on-site expertise of the Small and Medium Business Ombudsman and the institutional improvement functions of the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission, it is expected to provide faster and more effective solutions to unreasonable regulations and difficulties.
