[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Gwan-woo] Three additional COVID-19 cases have been confirmed in Gwangju Metropolitan City.
According to Gwangju City on the 20th, as of 6 p.m. that day, three people were confirmed positive and classified as Gwangju cases 2662 to 2664.
Cases 2662 and 2663 are contacts of case 2659, who was confirmed earlier on the same day.
Case 2659, whose infection route is unknown, visited a screening clinic due to COVID-19 symptoms and was confirmed positive.
Case 2664 is being investigated as a confirmed case with an unclear source of infection.
Including the previously announced five cases, the total number of new confirmed cases today is eight.
