Gwangju Office of Education Student Orchestra Hosts 'May Family Month Movie Music Concert'
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Gwan-woo] The Gwangju Metropolitan Office of Education Student Orchestra will hold the 'May Family Month Film Music Concert' at 3 p.m. on the 22nd at the Gwangju Student Education and Culture Center Performance Hall.
According to the Gwangju Student Education and Culture Center on the 20th, a total of nine pieces, including the 'Titanic OST,' will be performed at this concert.
The Student Orchestra of the Metropolitan Office of Education, composed of about 80 students attending elementary, middle, and high schools in the district, practices every weekend in 13 different parts.
The concert will be held without an audience to prevent the spread of COVID-19, and the performance will be recorded and uploaded on YouTube.
In the second half of the year, the 'August Yeonghonam Youth Exchange Concert' and the 'December Regular Concert' are scheduled.
The Student Education and Culture Center plans to establish a special COVID-19 prevention plan to ensure the safety of citizens and students.

Lee Rang-sun, director of the Gwangju Student Education and Culture Center, said, "I hope this concert will be a good gift to give strength to the citizens of Gwangju and our students who are exhausted from the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic," and added, "I thank all those who worked hard for this concert, including students, parents, and instructors."
