Shinsegae Gift Certificate Giveaway Event Until Next Month 2
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Yuri] Emart and LG Household & Health Care have launched a joint event in line with the 'ESG era.'
On the 20th, Emart announced that it will showcase 10 environmentally conscious household products released by LG Household & Health Care and hold an event until next month 2, where customers who purchase over 30,000 KRW worth of more than 100 LG Household & Health Care products, including these, will receive a 5,000 KRW Shinsegae gift certificate. During the event period, 1% of the sales will be donated to the 'Beautiful Store.'
Emart will exclusively launch four products from LG Household & Health Care’s eco-friendly value consumption brand line, 'Borrowed Earth,' through offline channels. To commemorate this, a 10% discount is offered when purchasing two of these products, and a 20% discount when purchasing three.
The containers of the four 'Borrowed Earth' products are made of colorless transparent plastic for easy recycling and consist of about 20% sugarcane-derived material in 'Bio PET' containers. Compared to regular plastic PET, the manufacturing process emits less carbon. The 'Borrowed Earth Laundry Detergent and Fabric Softener (each 1ℓ)' are sold at 9,900 KRW each, and the 'Borrowed Earth Dishwashing Detergent (490ml) and Bathroom Cleaner (400ml)' are sold at 5,900 KRW each.
Emart also introduces six pouch-type detergents, whose packaging consists of 38-42% recycled plastic, for the first time. Representative products include 'Tech Baking Citric Acid Liquid Detergent (2ℓ)' at 4,900 KRW, 'P&G Birelux Liquid Detergent (2ℓ)' at 7,950 KRW, and 'Nature Pong POP Dishwashing Detergent (1.3ℓ)' at 2,900 KRW.
Meanwhile, on the 14th, Emart collaborated with LG Household & Health Care to open the 'Borrowed Earth Refill Station' for shampoo and body wash refills at Emart Jukjeon branch.
