Tesla Vehicle in China Hits Police Officers, Causing 1 Death
[Asia Economy Reporter Yujin Cho] In China, a traffic accident occurred in which a police officer directing traffic on an overpass was hit by a vehicle, resulting in one death and one injury.
According to local media, the Public Security Bureau of Taizhou City, Zhejiang Province, stated that at around 5:15 PM local time on the 17th, a small Tesla vehicle driven by Mr. Chen struck two police officers who were managing the scene of a traffic accident on the overpass.
After the accident, the police officers were immediately taken to the hospital, but one died the following day and the other sustained serious injuries, the Public Security Bureau reported. Driver Mr. Chen is currently under investigation by the authorities to determine the exact circumstances of the accident.

Regarding this, Tesla stated on Weibo, the Chinese version of Twitter, that they "will cooperate with the investigation" and "cannot disclose related information before the investigation results are announced."
