New Vice Minister Eom Gidu graduated from Jangchung High School in Seoul and majored in Public Administration at Korea University. He entered public service after passing the 36th Administrative Examination. He has held key positions in the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries, including Director of Planning and Finance, Director of Marine Industry Policy, Director of Shipping and Logistics Bureau, Director of Fisheries Policy Office, and Director General of Planning and Coordination.
