[Asia Economy Reporter Ra Young-cheol] As Gangwon Chuncheon City signed investment agreements with three companies relocating from the metropolitan area, the occupancy rate of the Namchuncheon General Industrial Complex has increased.
The city announced on the 18th, "On the 20th, an investment agreement ceremony will be held with Adcross Co., Ltd., Yuhan Life Science Co., Ltd., and Ebizmart Co., Ltd. at Namchuncheon Industrial Complex District 1."
With the investments from these companies, the occupancy rate of the Namchuncheon General Industrial Complex rose from 61.5% to 76.9%.
The investment amounts for each company are 6 billion KRW for Adcross Co., Ltd., 1.8 billion KRW for Yuhan Life Science Co., Ltd., and 3 billion KRW for Ebizmart Co., Ltd., with business sectors being health functional food manufacturing and logistics, respectively.
The relocating companies considered factors such as the low land costs at about 20% of metropolitan industrial complexes and proximity to highways, ensuring accessibility to the metropolitan area, the city analyzed.
