Various Programs Prepared for Elderly Health Management and Stress Relief Amid COVID-19 Contraction
[Damyang=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Chunsu] On the 17th, Damyang-gun, Jeollanam-do announced that it will operate a Senior Health Recharge Class for 20 vulnerable elderly people aged 65 or older every Wednesday until the 16th of next month to manage health such as cerebrovascular diseases and dementia prevention.
This Health Recharge Class is conducted to relieve the stress of the elderly caused by COVID-19 and to promote mutual emotional exchange and psychological stability, and various participatory experience programs such as foot care, horticultural therapy, and craft making have been prepared.
This class will be held at the newly renovated Changpyeong Health Promotion Public Health Center in the first half of the year, and at the Damyang-gun Public Health Center in the second half.
