Seoul Headquarters Supports 400 Million Won for Comprehensive Health Checkups for Seniors in Onyang-eup

View original image[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yong-woo] Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power Saeul Nuclear Power Headquarters (Head Lee Sang-min) will support 400 million KRW for a health checkup project for residents of Onyang-eup, Ulju-gun, Ulsan.
On the 14th, Saeul Headquarters announced that it signed an agreement to provide such welfare funds for residents with the Onyang Nuclear Power Plant Area Residents' Council (Chairman Moon Jeong-jin).
The support targets are residents aged 60 or older living in Onyang-eup who have been recommended by the village chiefs of each village. Eligible individuals can apply in advance through the Residents' Council.
The hospitals where comprehensive health checkups are available are Good Morning Hospital (Nam-gu, Ulsan) and Jungang Hospital (Nam-gu, Ulsan). Supported individuals can choose the hospital they wish to receive the checkup.
Moon Jeong-jin, chairman of the Onyang Nuclear Power Plant Area Residents' Council, expressed gratitude, saying, "About 600 people benefit from the health checkup support project every year, and the response from local residents is positive, so we hope the project will continue."
