Lotte Department Store explained, "As home-cooked meals have diversified due to COVID-19, customer demand for new varieties of agricultural products is increasing," adding, "Salad vegetables are especially popular among those who spend more time at home and seek simple diet meals instead of exercise."
Lotte Department Store will showcase Stelix, which has a reddish hue, Izatrix with its curly shape, and crispy, sweet Butterhead lettuce. These European-style salads are contract-grown in collaboration with Goheung-gun, Jeonnam, at the country's largest smart farm, 'Jeonnam Goheung-gun Innovation Valley.'
