Gwangju City Recruiting 60 Trainees for 'Inter-Korean Economic Cooperation Expert Training Course'
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Seon-gang] Gwangju Metropolitan City announced on the 14th that it will operate the 'Inter-Korean Economic Cooperation Expert Training Course' in collaboration with the Kaesong Industrial Complex Support Foundation and the Gwangju Chamber of Commerce and Industry to cultivate talents who will lead the era of peace economy on the Korean Peninsula.
This course will be held free of charge for a total of 8 sessions every Wednesday from the 26th of this month to July 14th.
The main content is designed to support understanding of overall inter-Korean economic cooperation and preparation for cooperation projects, including understanding of the Kaesong Industrial Complex and other inter-Korean economic cooperation, North Korea's economy, society, and culture, and cases of inter-Korean economic cooperation project operations.
The instructors include renowned inter-Korean economic cooperation experts such as former Minister of Unification Kim Yeon-chul and Chairman of the Kaesong Industrial Complex Support Foundation Kim Jin-hyang. Considering the COVID-19 situation, both face-to-face lectures and non-face-to-face online lectures will be conducted.
Participants will be recruited on a first-come, first-served basis up to 60 people, including businesspeople, public institution officials, and citizens, until the 21st.
