Special Travel Advisory Extended Until June 15 Due to COVID-19
[Asia Economy Reporter Yoo In-ho] The government extended the special travel advisory issued due to the spread of COVID-19 on the 14th until June 15.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced on the 14th that it has reissued the special travel advisory for all overseas travel by Korean nationals to all countries and regions, extending it until June 15.
The special travel advisory is issued for urgent short-term risks and corresponds to travel alert level 2 (refrain from travel) or higher but below level 3 (recommend evacuation).
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs urged citizens planning overseas travel to cancel or postpone their trips.
