Starbucks Korea Achieves Record-Breaking Q1 Performance: The Background
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Hye-seon] Starbucks Coffee Korea has recorded its highest-ever sales in the first quarter of this year.
According to Emart on the 13th, Starbucks' first-quarter sales reached 522.7 billion KRW, a 15.0% increase compared to the same period last year. This is the highest quarterly sales figure in Starbucks' history.
Operating profit increased by 72.6% to 45.4 billion KRW, and net profit rose by 77.8% to 33.6 billion KRW.
The number of Starbucks stores stood at 1,536 in the first quarter, up 28 stores from 1,508 at the end of last year.
